Cloud and Application Engineer (m/f/x) (Karlsruhe)

Tipico is looking for a Cloud and Application Engineer to join

Your playing field:

• We strive for excellence: You will be engaged in the operation
  of private and public cloud infrastructure (OpenStack, AWS)
• You keep us running: You ensure reliability, stability and
  availability of production and non-production environments
• Together as one team: You will act as an escalation point for
  internal development and operation teams
• We keep the ball rolling and therefore you deliver solutions
  using industry best practices and state of the art technology
• You ensure compliance with CIA triad (confidentiality,
  integrity, availability)

Which skills should you bring to the pitch:

• University Degree. Bachelor/Master’s Degree in
  Computer Science or in an related field
• Progress. Cloud vender certifications is a
  plus
• Software Development. 3+ years of practical
  experience in AWS API usage (CloudFormation, Terraform)
• Strong Skills. Deep experiences with
  Linux
• Knowledge. Above average knowledge of one of
  the cloud computing technologies (Openstack or Kubernetes)
• Tools. Practical experiences with CI/CD and
  provisioning tools (GIT, Jenkins)
• Scripting. Knowledge in Bash or Python
• Know-how. By using application server like
  Tomcat or JBoss
• Feedback culture. Proficiency in providing and
  getting feedback
• Travel. Openness to travel (3%)
• Standby. On-call duty
• Language. Communication skills in English,
  German is a plus
