The CIO/COO/Chief Technology Office area is responsible
for ensuring an effective alignment between Business and Technology
Strategy whilst enabling the Deutsche Börse Group to execute new
Technology Opportunities. Within this area, Data IT is responsible
for the delivery of Software Development and IT Operation services
for Data Products. Currently amongst others, the center of the
services provided are the three service lines – Data Services,
Index Services, and Regulatory Services. The Data IT architecture
is designed to meet business requirements of the individual service
lines of Deutsche Börse Group. Data products contain real-time data
feeds, ultra-low latency transaction processing, mass transaction
processing, and data analytics. The services are built on Deutsche
Börse Group standard technologies on premise and on cloud-based
platforms as defined by the Chief Technology Office. The Data IT
Architecture specialist is responsible to maintain the Data IT
Architecture principles in line with the Data and IT Strategy of
the Chief Technology Office, leveraging new technology
opportunities where possible. For the development of new platforms,
the Data IT Architect ensures, that the design of the Data IT
platforms complies with the architecture principles and meets the
requirements of the business lines. Driving Data IT toward new
technologies, leveraging cloud technologies, the usage of machine
learning, artificial intelligence, as part of the CTO function,
including fully-fledged automated DevOps processing compliant with
Deutsche Börse Group Information Security policies, which are based
on the ISO/IEC 27xxx standards, Rundschreiben 10/2017 (BA), and
other Information Security related regulations, enabling the growth
of the Business partners is the ultimate target.
Tasks/responsibilities:
- Design application architectures and provide guidance in
terms of scalability, stability, security and cloud
readiness. - Provide expertise in the fields modern IT architectures
enabling the growth of the Data Services business of Deutsche Börse
Group, including modern Cloud Technologies, Data mining, analytics,
machine learning and artificial intelligence - Plan and support automation of code build, code test and
code deploy of applications. - Plan and support migration of applications on a DBG cloud
platform - Train Data product application teams on general IT
architecture topics and best practices incl. topics like DevOps,
Cloud and IT Security - Coordinate general IT Architecture best practices with
other product architects - Coordinate IT Security requirements with central IS team
and all application owners. - Define the IT Roadmap and IT strategy of the Data product
to enable the digitization and data strategy, as well as the IT and
Data strategy of Deutsche Börse Group as part of the Chief
Technology Office function
Qualification/required skills:
- Broad IT skills covering different IT architecture types
to be applied to specific business purposes, operating systems,
database platforms, application technology stacks and related IT
security topics - Modern Cloud Technologies, Data mining, analytics,
machine learning and artificial intelligence and their application
in the Data space - Practical experience with at least one cloud platform,
e.g. AWS, Azure, Google and general understanding of cloud
computing concepts - Experience in defining IT strategies to enable business
strategies in the area of datafication and digitization - Profound knowledge in low latency platforms and
architectures (real time data dissemination), Data Warehouse
solutions, Big Data Analytics architectures, ranging from C++
applications to Go for low latency applications and various
Experience with DevOps tools and build & test automation incl.
tools like Jenkins, SonarQube, Selenium or similar - Experience aligning compliance regarding regulatory,
security and audit aspects of DevOps and Cloud processes and
solutions specifically in the context of new Data
initiatives - Big data database implementations
- University degree or comparable
- Strong communication skills, empathy and the ability to
work in a team - High commitment and motivation.
- Fluent in both written and spoken English and
German. - Additionally, you need to be a team player with good
communication and soft skills, highly motivated, flexible and good
at MS Office applications.
